This website, scholarly journal and conference platform are maintained for the Bulgarian Society for Music Theory (BSMT). For questions about personal data, contact admin@bsmt.bg.
Necessary technical data
To serve pages and maintain security, the server may process an IP address, request time, browser information and the requested URL. Accounts, reviews, registrations and scholarly submissions in OJS and the conference system are handled separately from visitor analytics.
Optional Google Analytics 4
Only with your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-HV3KW89WZN, to measure visits to public pages. This may involve approximate location, device and browser characteristics, the visited page and analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Our measurement code does not send URL parameters, passwords, email addresses or unpublished materials. Advertising features and personalization are disabled.
The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent. If you decline, Google Analytics does not load. The choice is stored locally in your browser and does not restrict access to public pages.
Recipient, retention and rights
Google provides the analytics service. Processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area subject to Google's applicable terms. Analytics retention depends on the GA4 property settings and provider policies. To ask about the applicable retention period or exercise access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection rights, contact admin@bsmt.bg. You may also complain to Bulgaria's Commission for Personal Data Protection.
Withdraw your consent
On any public page, select “Analytics settings” → “Decline”. This stops future measurement, reloads the page and clears analytics cookies where technically possible. Withdrawal does not affect lawful earlier processing.
