Date

To be confirmed after venue and international-calendar coordination.

Venue

Written enquiries and venue comparison in Sofia are in progress.

Submissions

Not open. The international call for papers has not yet been published.

Scholarly and programme model

  • No more than two parallel scholarly tracks.
  • Six contribution formats matched to the form of scholarly knowledge.
  • Double-anonymized peer review with normally two independent reviewers.
  • An integrated research-performance programme, Theory in Sound.
  • A public programme and Book of Abstracts; no automatic full-paper proceedings.

HotCRP is configured and has passed a synthetic workflow test, but remains an internal preparation environment. Public submissions will not be announced before the organisational gates are complete.

Journal relationship

Conference acceptance does not imply journal acceptance. Journal publication requires a separate submission and independent peer review.

Separate workflow system

Internal organiser access

HotCRP is used to prepare and test submission and peer review. Public paper submissions are not open.

This is a test environment, not an announced public call for submissions.

Conference strategy and working materials

The PDFs are intended for sequential reading and reference. The JSON files contain the same strategic framework in machine-readable form for independent analysis and AI-assisted research.

How to use the files

The materials are provided in two formats — PDF for reading and JSON for work with artificial intelligence. They can be downloaded and used for independent research, discussion, and development of ideas related to the topic.

PDF

For normal sequential reading.

  • the complete text
  • argumentation
  • diagrams
  • sources
  • bibliography
  • terminological index

JSON

For machine-readable and structured work with AI systems.

ChatGPT · Gemini · Claude · NotebookLM

  • decisions
  • rules
  • dependencies
  • risks
  • indicators
  • stages
  • sources
  • implementation conditions

Recommended workflow

  1. Download the PDF and the corresponding JSON file.
  2. For the most complete analysis, upload both the PDF and JSON to the selected AI system.
  3. Use the PDF for context, argumentation, and visual presentation.
  4. Use the JSON for more reliable tracking of structure, decisions, and dependencies.
  5. Ask questions in natural language and require a clear distinction between information from the files and the AI system's own analysis.

Recommended opening instruction for AI

Use the attached files as the primary source. Do not attribute claims to the documents unless they are actually supported by them. When adding your own analysis or external information, identify it separately. For specific claims, cite the relevant section, decision, or identifier from the documents.
Example questions
  • Read the attached PDF and JSON as one combined source. Explain the strategy briefly, without technical detail.
  • What are the main arguments for and against holding the conference within a music festival?
  • Compare Sofia, Varna, and Ruse as possible conference locations using only information from the documents.
  • List all decisions that have already been adopted and separate them from questions that remain open.
  • Critically review the strategy. Identify weaknesses, risks, and missing dependencies.
  • Propose an alternative model, but clearly distinguish what comes from the documents from your own proposal.
  • Which parts of the strategy concern peer review, international participation, and the relationship with the journal?
  • Trace all sections related to the concert programme and festival partnerships and combine them into one analysis.

Research use

The files can be used not only for reading but as a research corpus on which teachers, researchers, and BSMT members can perform their own analysis and develop alternative scenarios and proposals.
